AWR-329 Leveraging Tools for Coordinated Disaster Communications - Mar 2025 EMC/NDPTC

Full Description: This four-hour awareness-level training course will provide community and volunteer groups, state and local government agencies, and other stakeholder groups, as well as concerned citizens, with relevant information and practical exercises that will improve their knowledge and skills to better serve the communication needs of their communities. The course is designed to help participants to better understand the importance of communicating with different groups at different times, and to evaluate the various tools available to affect communications.

Course Objectives
Understand, articulate, and respond to the communication needs of various community entities
Identify and understand the benefits and limitations of various communication tools
